Rising Stars is an intervention-based school readiness program for children ages three to six years old who have a developmental diagnosis or behavioral or functional needs. Rising Stars provides the opportunity for children to learn new abilities and achieve their goals in an environment that is both safe and fun.
We will provide behavior intervention services in a classroom-like environment where your child receives one-on-one support. Your child will actively practice the skills necessary to be more successful in a classroom setting.
We will complete an evaluation and work with each family to create an individualized plan, run goals throughout our time with your child, and provide periodic updates on their progress. Call our office at (208) 376-4999 to speak with a helpful member of our team.
Rising Stars services can help to increase language and communication skills. It can also assist in development of fine and gross motor skills and help improve attention, social skills, memory, academics, and interactions with peers. Our Rising Stars Program is structured as follows:
Children work 1:1 with highly trained intervention specialists on individualized goals as they navigate a group routine. These goals are created from an initial formal assessment.
Sessions are offered in the morning or the afternoon. Each Rising Stars location will follow the predominant school calendar for the area. For more information, contact your local RISE office.
Family Collaboration sessions are coordinated individually with each family.
Rising Stars services are funded through Idaho Children's Habilitation Intervention Services (CHIS) or through private pay.
