RISE Services, Inc. works alongside individuals and families that have chosen self-direction for their services and supports. All our adult programs are available to anyone who wishes to work with our trained staff to accomplish their goals.
Idaho’s Self-Direction program is an option under the Developmental Disabilities Waiver. This program allows individuals more choices and control over the Medicaid funds used to pay for their services and supports. They choose the services and supports that fit their needs, when and where they receive services and supports, and hire the people they want to help them.

Self-Direction is a way to receive services that puts you in the “driver’s seat.” You get to decide who works with you, what tasks they help you with, and when those services happen. This model is perfect for individuals and guardians who want a highly personalized life and the power to manage their own support budget.
Navigating self-directed services can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. If a family decides to use their self-directed budget with RISE, we will provide a staff member who has been trained through RISE and has completed all necessary background checks.
